Dieumerci Mbokani signed a new one-season contract with Antwerp on Friday. On Sunday, he joined the rest of the group at a training camp in Harsewinkel in the Netherlands and reacted for the first time in a video that Antwerp posted online Monday morning.

“I am very satisfied and happy that I was able to renew my contract with Antwerp again,” explained the Congolese attacker. “Antwerp is my family. I already know the team very well from the previous two seasons. It is very nice to see all the boys again. I get along well with everyone. They are my friends and we played well together last season. ”
Mbokani also gave all his goals for the coming months. “We first look at the cup final. Winning the cup is one of my big goals. Next season I want to win as much as possible and score as many goals as possible. ” With 18 goals, he was crowned top scorer in the Jupiler Pro League last season.
In the intermediate season, the Croatian Ivan Leko replaced the Romanian Laszlo Bölöni as T1 at the Great Old.
