Bongouanou, August 15, 2023 (AIP)- The Mayor of Arrah, Badou Harlette N’guessan, presented several achievements of his team in the field of education during his five-year mandate, Sunday August 13, 2023, during of a ceremony of his investiture as candidate of the Rally of Houphouëtists for Democracy and Peace (RHDP) for the municipal elections of September 2, 2023.
According to Ms. Badou, the commune has seen the construction of 18 fully equipped classrooms with more than 2,000 table-benches, as well as the installation of three teachers’ offices, four hygienic toilets, four school fences and a canteen.
In addition, another canteen has been rehabilitated, as well as six classes at the Catholic EPP and four toilets at the EPP UPU. Thanks to these investments, more than 200 vulnerable students have been supported, she said.
The mayor also pointed out that each year, capacity building courses for the preparation of students in exam class are made available throughout the municipality. Financial support was also provided for excellence award initiatives for the best students from CP1 to Terminale.
