UPDATEThe maximum price for petrol 95 (E10) climbs on Saturday by 1.7 cents to a new absolute record to 2.155 euros per liter. This is reported by the FPS Economy.

The previous record only dates back to last week. The price for petrol 98 (E5) will not increase on Saturday, but will on the contrary be lower: -0.8 cents to 2.394 euros per liter. The price of Super 98 had already risen to a record high last week, according to data from Energia, the former Belgian Petroleum Federation.
LPG is also falling in price today, by 3.4 cents to 0.769 euros per litre. At the end of March, the price of LPG still peaked at 1.22 euros, but the decline started afterwards.

Also new record for heating oil
Fuel oil is rising again, also to a new record. With an order of more than 2,000 liters, an additional 3.08 cents is added to a maximum of 1.4516 euros per liter.

Nothing will change for diesel (B7, 2,188 euros/l), after a price increase earlier this week. In mid-March, the diesel price peaked at 2,286 euros per litre.

Scarcity and war in Ukraine
The price evolutions are the result of fluctuations in the quotations of oil products and biocomponents on the international markets, it is said. Fuel prices have been camping in higher spheres for some time now. After the scarcity caused by the economic recovery, the Russian invasion of Ukraine followed at the end of February, which sent oil prices further upwards.
