Maxime Le Forestier Evacuated from Concert in Antibes after Feeling Unwell

Two songs before the end of his concert in Antibes, the 74-year-old singer felt unwell and was evacuated.

French singer Maxime Le Forestier, 74, was performing on the Anthéa stage in Antibes (Alpes-Maritimes), near Nice, Tuesday October 17, 2023, when he felt unwell in the middle of a concert. According to France Blue AzureMaxime Le Forestier would have started to stagger back and forth after an hour and a quarter of show, before his musicians and his son rushed towards him.

Julien Nény, journalist for France Télévisions, filmed the singer’s evacuation seen from the audience, to applause:

Back on stage this Wednesday

An SMS was sent to spectators by the theater, indicating that Maxime Le Forestier “is feeling better and thanks you for your warm presence”. Two songs before the end of the concert, the singer suffered a hypoglycemic attack.

He will already be back this Wednesday, October 18, 2023 in the evening, still in the Anthéa room in Antibes, for the second concert which was scheduled.
