King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima will attend the May 5 concert in Amsterdam tonight. It is the official conclusion of Liberation Day. The concert traditionally takes place on and around the Amstel in front of the Royal Theater Carré and will be held again this year in its usual form.
The royal couple arrived at the Carré theater just after eight. Máxima shines this evening in an ‘old acquaintance’: a dress made of floral Mikado silk. The dress is decorated with embroidered feathers at the cuffs. It is a design by her favorite fashion house Natan.

During the liberation concert, singer Anita Meyer, mezzo-soprano Tania Kross, Syrian singer Wasim Arslan, rapper Fresku and singer Merijn van Haren of the rock band Navarone will perform. The presentation is in the hands of Eric Corton.
