Dutch Red Bull driver Max Verstappen, world champion in the past two seasons, won first place in the Spanish Grand Prix, the seventh stage of the Formula One World Championship, Sunday, at the Montmelo circuit in Barcelona.
Briton Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) finished second, and his colleague and compatriot George Russell third.
The victory is the fifth for the Dutchman this season in seven races, which strengthened his score at the top of the overall standings.
