Max Sopacua Dies of Lung Cancer

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV– Zulkifli bin Adam, a senior politician and founder of the Democratic Party, known as Max Sopacua, died this morning.

Max Sopacua died of illness after undergoing treatment at the Gatot Subroto Army Central Hospital (RSPAD) Jakarta.

This information was conveyed by Ferro Sopacua, son of Max Sopacua to KOMPAS.TV, Wednesday (17/11/2021).

“That’s right (Max Sopacua died),” said Ferro Sopacua.

“Papa died this morning at 5:53 pm at the Gatot Subroto RSPAD, Jakarta, after being treated for 14 days at the Bogor City Hospital and was referred to the RSPAD and at the RSPAD he was treated for 17 days.”

According to Ferro, Max Sopacua died allegedly due to lung cancer he suffered.

Responding to the news of the death of Max Sopacua, the Head of the Strategic Communications Agency for the DPP Democratic Party Herzaky Mahendra Putra expressed his condolences.

“Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rojiun. We are sorry. May the families left behind be given strength and fortitude,” said Herzaky.

Meanwhile to KOMPAS.TV, one of the founders of the Democratic Party, Darmizal said Max Sopacua would be buried at the residence of Jl. Veterans gg. Kepatihan no. 6 Central Bogor.
