As reported by the newspaper Marca, the former Newell’s player is chosen by the owner of Chelsea, Todd Boehly, to take charge of the London team and save the season for the ‘Blues’ who, so far and with a squad full of figures, it’s really forgettable.

The Madrid news portal reports that the coach and the businessman held several meetings during the week and at the moment they need to finish off the last “fringes” of the negotiation that speak more of the work team than of economic issues or years of contract. Pochettino is clear that for his next project he must have and feel the support of the club and he is working on it.

It should be noted that Pochettino and Boehly met last summer in order for the Argentine to get on the train that Tuchel was going to stop driving.

At the time, the coach thanked the call, but considered that it was not the right time, that seems to have changed and that is why the point of agreement is about to be signed.
