For a good part of Fiel, one of the main highlights in the victory over Cruzeiro, this Sunday, was left-back Matheus Bidu, who returned to play for Corinthians after two months.
The number 21 started in the starting line-up and left the pitch in the second half. In just over 90 minutes he was on the field, Bidu won 61% of the duels he played, didn’t suffer a dribble, made two cuts, two tackles and an interception.
Offensively, he had a 78% pass rate and managed to finish once towards the opposing goal. The move in question was in the first half of the match and, if it weren’t for Rafael, the ball would have stopped at the corner of Cruzeiro’s goal.
With little space at Corinthians, Matheus Bidu has struggled to score minutes. In the Campeonato Paulista, for example, he played in just three matches, accumulating 152 minutes. In fact, Fernando Lázaro would have tested other players on the white left side, such as defender Murillo, as confirmed by the my helm.
Regaining confidence, Matheus Bidu continues to be an option for the Corinthians coach following the season. Timão returns to the field next Wednesday, the 19th, when they receive, at Neo Química Arena, Argentinos Juniors, for the second round of the Libertadores group stage.
