The announcement had been in the air for some time and has finally become official: on the occasion of N7 Day, the date the franchise is celebrated Mass Effect, Electronic Arts and the software house BioWare they announced that in the spring 2021 we can get our hands on Mass Effect: Legendary Edition.

The box will be one Remastering of Commander Shepard’s trilogy, which the BioWare team says they have been working on for months, with improvements for textures, shaders, models, effects and other technical components of the three titles. “The goal was not to remake or reimagine the originals, but to modernize the experience so that new players and fans could experience the original works in their best form” explained Casey Hudson, general manager of BioWare.
In this version, the trilogy will count on “An improved resolution, faster frame rates and beautiful graphics enhancements”, the developers anticipate. Inside the box you will find Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, Mass Effect 3 and all their DLCs, all in 4K.
The output is set for primavera 2021 su PC, PS4 e Xbox One, but there will be special improvements and guaranteed backwards compatibility with Xbox Series X|S e PlayStation 5.
