The Aquamarine livery, one of the many special colors offered by the Maserati Fuoriserie customization program, blends elegantly with the passenger compartment, finished in ice white leather and Alcantara and embellished with carbon fiber inserts with a matte finish. The spectacular “butterfly” opening system of the doors is taken from the MC20, while the operation of the tretractable glass cover electrochromate. By touching a button on the 10-inch central display it takes just 12 seconds to open and close it, while another command, thanks to the special PDLC technology (Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal), allows you to vary the transparency, while offering a degree of thermal insulation and very high acoustic.

A FORMULA 1 ENGINE – What on Maserati MC20 Cielo the pleasure of driving remains unchanged compared to the MC20. Net of the appropriate stiffening changes due to the absence of the roof, in fact, the carbon fiber monocoque is identical to that of the coupé version, from which the spider also inherits the advanced aerodynamic solutions and, of course, the Neptune engine 3.0 V6 bi-turbo yes 630 CV (who details on how it is made). Awarded, last October, as part of the “No Smog Mobility” review, of the Green Prix for “Made in Italy”, this engine aroused the interest of enthusiasts and professionals for the sophisticated pre-chamber combustion system with double spark plug, a technology normally used in Formula 1 engines.

FROM THE SKY TO THE SEA – In addition to the Aquamarine of the launch edition, the Maserati MC20 Cielo it will be available in the five shades of the MC20 palette – Audace White, Genio Yellow, Vincente Red, Infinite Blue -, to which is added the new Incognito Gray. With an unprecedented design, the new multi-spoke MMXX alloy wheels (2020, in the Roman numbering system) with diamond finish and double X motif are now also available for the coupé version. Playing with colors and fabrics, the taste for cars and fashion resulted in a collaboration with North Sails, a well-known US company specialized in the production of equipment for sailing boats and clothing inspired by life at sea. drawing inspiration from the new Trident spider, he has created a new Capsule Collection.

EVEN SAFER – The new Maserati MC20 Cielo is equipped with numerous active safety systems. As standard, in addition to the parking sensors with rear view camera and those for the blind spot, already present on the MC20, there are automatic emergency braking, the traffic sign recognition system and a new 360 ° camera. Among optionala real gem the High Premium audio system created by Sonus faber: already winner of the EISA award as the best automotive Hi-Fi system, it has been modified in the acoustics and in the installation areas of the 12 speakers, with the aim of returning maximum power and clarity of sound even with the roof open.
