Marshanda brought sad news, his grandfather, Rustam Yusuf, had died.
On Sunday (26/11), Marshanda announced this sad news via her personal Instagram. He also expressed his prayers for the deceased to get the best place with God.
However, the woman who is familiarly called Caca did not reveal the cause of her grandfather’s death.
“Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun. Our beloved Opa, Opa Rustam Yusuf, has passed away. Rest in peace Grandpa. Forever in the love and protection of Allah SWT. Amen amen ya Rabbal ‘alamin,” wrote Marshanda.
Marshanda also shared moments with her grandfather in a photo and video.
In the video, Marshanda is seen sitting next to her grandfather who is lying on the bed. He held his grandfather’s hand and talked about the past.
“When we were little, when we went to Puncak, Eca (Marshanda) liked to ride the long slide. Then we took lots of photos, right?” Marshanda said to his grandfather.
Marshanda’s upload then received comments containing expressions of condolences from friends and netizens.
“My condolences Chacha,” wrote Ayu Shita.
“Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun. Semoga almarhum husnul khatimah,” commented Ardi Bakrie.
“My condolences to you, may the deceased be accepted for his acts of worship by Allah SWT, amen,” wrote Vicky Prasetyo.
