Marktheidenfeld: Emergency shelter for Ukrainian… | Radio Gong Wuerzburg

The district of Main-Spessart also wants to offer Ukrainian refugees protection – which is why the district has set up emergency accommodation in Marktheidenfeld. The Main-Spessart Halle was converted for this purpose.

It is planned to accommodate a maximum of 200 people in the hall. The kitchen of the district hospital will take over the catering for the refugees in the future. In addition, a security service will ensure the necessary security in the hall.

Fast assembly on Monday evening

Around 40 helpers from the Bavarian Red Cross and the fire brigade set up the emergency shelter within three hours on Monday evening. They fenced off compartments and built camp beds.
