Plug and Play Tech Center is looking for a full time Mid Weight Designer to join our marketing team in Valencia (Spain).

We are looking for a Marketing Communications Designer to support the delivery of key messages for our Global Marketing team. The ideal candidate will need to have multi-disciplinary skills and will be passionate about brand, strategy and communication design, whether its sales comms material, events collateral or online promotional design.

We’re looking for someone with presentation design experience and strong layout skills to help elevate the brand message through all visual communications. Candidates should be able to design within an established brand identity system, while pushing the direction forward, and show initiative.

The job

– Collaborate with Marketing team to articulate and execute design decisions

– Strong typography and promotional design skills to help elevate the brand message through all visual communications online and offline

– Create digital graphics, print graphics, and marketing collateral consistent with our brand guidelines.

– Creation of custom infographics to augment blog posts, reports, social media, and newsletters

– Assist in video production by creating graphics to dynamic moving imagery

– The ideal graphic candidate has a passion for minimalist design, but also has their eye on the latest web/digital design trends.

– Daily projects would include sales and promotional materials, branding, printed material for events and press, collaborating with the head of marketing on web projects, and executing long-term design projects (e.g. company reports and brochures)

Requirements

– Studied Graphic Design

– Fluent in English (C1 or more)

– High energy and positive attitude

– Expert knowledge of typography and grid systems

– A solid creative portfolio that features communicational work and creative branding projects

– Experience in all fields of design including decks/keynotes, print, online communicational material, etc. Animation, video and web is a plus

– Excellent knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Keynote

– A basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.

– Understanding of, and interest in the digital marketing landscape

– Ability to translate complicated messages into simple expressions through imagery and graphics

– Comfortable working in fast-paced environment

– Ability to prioritise workload and juggle multiple deadlines

– B2B experience is a bonus

– Previous experience at an agency or high-end consumer brand preferred, but not required
