Mark Gurman: Apple postpones Apple Vision Pro release to March 2024

Other media also report about this. Nothing lazy about it. Apple never specifically stated when the Vision pro would be released. And for the rest of the world it would even be the end of 2024. So yes, it’s time to watch, especially with reported shortages.

I am looking forward to it. Not to buy (it is actually a beta product) but everyone who has tested the Vision Pro is delighted. I want to test it!

Personally, I was very skeptical about the Vision Pro, until I tried it in the summer. After my half-hour demo, I was blown away—and the experience still lives with me now. In fact, not only did it take my breath away, it left me feeling excited, moved, even.

Marques Brownlee also said it in similar words. He added in another video that it was a ‘zero product’, first tech demo to develop the ecosystem with the industry.

I’m already enthusiastic. As soon as the first release comes, although limited pro, its true nature will become visible with the first real use cases for the masses. (Although the real breakthrough may take a long time)

Many people are skeptical, but this technology will lay the foundations for the first real mixed reality for the masses. And yes it is still expensive and yes Microsoft has been on that boat for some time, but the ambition of Helo lens was 100% industry + very specific custom applications.

As far as I’m concerned, this is a game changer. Anyway… first wait until the first reviews.
