Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit gets free update with new environments – Gaming – News

Nintendo released an update for Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit on Thursday. The update for the AR game is free and adds new environments, among other things. It is the first update for the game to include new content.

The 1.1.0 update will be downloaded automatically when players start the game. Nintendo added a Mario Cup to the game and in the releasenotes can be read that this cup has three new environments. Although you race through your own living room in the game, virtual elements in certain themes are shown during the race. With this update, there will be more variation in this.

In addition, Yoshi items for the karts have also been added. The physical karts of Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit allow you to drive only with Mario or Luigi, but the karts can be changed in appearance in the game. Including now also a Yoshi look

On the website Nintendo Japan also features new obstacles. The image shows how barrels roll over the track. The barrels will most likely cause your kart to come to a stop if you hit it.

Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit popped up last October for the Nintendo Switch. The game lets you drive through your living room with physical controllable karts. Augmented reality allows you to race on a Nintendo Switch console against someone who also owns the game and against computer-controlled opponents.
