Foggia won with a time of 38 minutes 51.668 seconds when he touched the finish line. Completing the podium positions were Izan Guevara and Carlos Tatay.
In the race at the Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit, Sunday (20/3/2022) afternoon WIB, Mario Aji took the third starting position. He immediately dropped the position because of a bad start, he was in seventh place.
When the race is only 17 laps, Mario Aji continue to sag. The 18-year-old racer is in 13th position. One lap later, he had dropped to 16th position.
Dennis Foggia had shot far ahead when the race had 14 laps to go. He recorded a gap with the second driver Izan Guevara, 3.522 seconds.
Mario Aji is getting left behind when the race leaves 6 laps. He took 19th place. However, he returned to the 18th position when the race left 2 laps.
On the last lap, Mario Aji rose two ranks, there were two riders who crashed. When he finished, Aji could take the 14th position, Foggia was not overtaken until the race was over.
With this result, Foggia has now collected 32 points from two races. Mario Aji won his first 2 points in Moto3 this season.
