María Guadalupe Lozada León was designated as the person in charge of the office of the Ministry of Culture of Mexico City.
In a brief statement, the agency reported that the Head of Government, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, named Lozada León as head of the Culture office. Previously, she held the position of general director of Historical, Artistic and Cultural Heritage of the capital.
The last Sunday, Alfonso Suárez de Real he stopped being secretary of Culture to assume as secretary of Government of the City.

The agency said in its statement that the purpose of the Ministry of Culture of Mexico City is to develop, coordinate and execute public policies that guarantee the full exercise of the cultural rights of individuals and communities, that allow their integral development and strengthen the coexistence in a framework of free expression of ideas, equitable access to cultural goods and services and recognition and protection of various identities.
