DEPOK – Manager Margo City, Depok ensured that there were no explosions and acts of terrorism that occurred in the mall building, Saturday (21/8/2021). A rumble could be heard coming from the roof of the collapsed building.
“What happened in Margo City at this time was not a bomb explosion or an act of terrorism. The details of the incident are still under investigation by the relevant parties,” said Marcom Margo City Depok Reza Ardiananda at the location, Saturday evening.
Reza further explained that the detailed location of the incident was in Margo Prominen. According to him, Margo Prominen is part of the right side of Margo City.
Regarding the alleged collapse from the 3rd Floor, Reza emphasized that the impact was not too severe. While the worst impact is on the Ground Floor.
“Currently, those who are most affected are on the ground floor. The 3rd floor is affected but it is not too big, only a little bit,” he said.

When confirmed for the exact number of victims, Reza could not provide details because it was still in the process of collecting data. However, all victims have received treatment at the hospital in a conscious condition.
“We will update later, yes. But all the victims are conscious and have also been treated by the hospital,” he explained.
