It will take place, symbolically, on the same day as the European Day for Victims of Terrorism . This European day of March 11 commemorates the deadliest jihadist attack in Europe to date which had killed 191 people in Madrid on March 11, 2004. In addition, this date also corresponds to the first of the attacks perpetrated by Mohamed Merah in 2012 in Toulouse and Montauban.

Concretely, the decree of November 7, 2019 specifies that a national ceremony will be organized on March 11. It being understood that ” a similar ceremony can be organized in each department on the initiative of the prefect ”

Each year, the City of Paris pays tribute to the victims of the attacks of January 7 and 9 and November 13, 2015. These ceremonies are marked by sobriety, in accordance with the wishes of the victims and their families.

The objective of this regional center is to improve the care of victims of all ages in contexts such as attacks, natural or industrial disasters, rape, family violence, situations of school or professional harassment, migration, care for children returning from countries at war, etc. The teams coordinate the actors already involved in the treatment of psychotrauma, public or associative, thanks to a telephone platform dedicated to reception and orientation at 01 42 34 78 78 du Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The EIA brings together lawyers, psychologists and social workers dedicated to victims and their relatives in one place. The multidisciplinary team of the Paris Aide aux Victimes association is responsible for welcoming and informing victims of their rights, supporting them in their efforts and offering them psychological support.
