The National Renovation directive resolved to designate the deputy Marcela Sabat as senator, to occupy the seat that this Tuesday left free in the Upper House Andrés Allamand, by assuming Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Government of Sebastián Piñera.
The change of cabinet executed this afternoon by the President removed four congressmen from the Congress to integrate them into the cabinet: two of them deputies and two senators, two from the UDI and two from the RN.
In the case of Renewal, its board of directors met during this same day to decide on replacements, and thus defined it to be Sabbath –deputy since 2010 for District No. 10– whoever assumes the vacancy released by Allamand, senator for the Metropolitan Region.
Marcela Sabat will occupy the seat in the Senate that Andrés Allamand leaves. Camilo Morán and Tomás Fuentes will be designated in the lower house by seats in Desbordes and Sabat @Cooperative

Tomás Fuentes, a close collaborator with Allamand, will occupy the seat that Sabat released when he passed to the Upper House.
While, Camilo Morán, councilor and chief of staff of Mario Desbordes, will replace this one, who assumed today as head of the Ministry of Defense.
Both Andrés Allamand and Marcela Sabat appear on the list of 50 parliamentarians who, given the constitutional reform approved in early June, were prevented from seeking reelection for a new period in their respective positions.
It should also be remembered that less than a month ago, Allamand and his successor had a mini impasse, when the first stated, in the middle of a telematic session regarding the emergency postnatal project, that the deputy of his party Francisco Eguiguren was “talking pure weas”, which Sabat reproached notoriously annoying as “disrespect”.
By taking over as minister, Mario Desbordes also left the RN presidency. At the moment, the first vice president of the community, the senator Rafael Prohens, pending a general council to make final decisions.

Deputy Jaime Bellolio and the senator Victor Perez They also left Parliament on Tuesday to join the Executive Branch, as ministers of the Segegob e Interior. The UDI has indicated that it will take a little more time to define its replacements.
