Marc Tessier has just been appointed new deputy to the secretary general for regional affairs (SGAR) at the Occitanie prefecture. This senior official will now be the deputy of SGAR Frédéric Viseur and will be in charge of the “Modernization and resources” department. Within this division, Marc Teissier’s missions are to coordinate the action of regional State services and to lead the support functions.
This division notably ensures the management of the Coordination and General Affairs department (human resources management, legal and financial support, development of communication actions, animation of Eco-responsible Public Service missions, etc.). Marc Tessier will also supervise the organization of the Regional Administration Committees and Regional Steering Committees (CODIR), the regional Budget and Finance platform, the regional real estate platform, etc.
A journey between Justice and National Education
Marc Teissier has had a varied career in the state civil service since 1995, both in central and decentralized administration. Since April 2022, he has been in charge of real estate management of the central administration of the Ministry of Justice. Previously, he was secretary general of the National School of Prison Administration (ENAP) from 1998 to 2005 in Agen then secretary general of the inter-regional directorate of prison services of Bordeaux (DAP) from 2005 to 2008.
