“China, for example, they opt for economy and public health”, Noppen explains. “Freedom… forget it. Result: they have zero corona cases today and an economy that is booming. The United States, they are doing something different. They opt for economy and individual freedom. The result is that public health does not attract much. ”

“In our regions we try to find a kind of mixture of the three, whereby we both save the economy and get public health good and yet also have individual freedom in one way or another …” However, according to Noppen, there is no ideal solution. where everything can succeed. “You should trade-offs making, making choices. Or for the one, or for the other. ”

But then you have to consistently do everything in that direction and not keep the three balls in the air at the same time. ”
