Many schools in Poitiers and Niort, closed this Thursday, due to strike

This Thursday, January 13, teachers could massively strike against the health protocol and its many recent changes. This could concern: 75% of primary school teachers, according to forecasts published on Tuesday by the SNUipp-FSU, the first primary school union.

In Niort, nine schools closed

Nine Niort establishments will remain closed this Thursday according to the city and 14 will only be partially closed. The city advises parents to find out if a welcome service can be provided for each class.

In Poitiers, 20 schools completely closed

The town hall of the Vienne prefecture announces that 20 schools will be closed this Thursday. A minimum reception service may be set up in some schools, but it is better to find out. The city offers a hotline on 05 49 52 37 62, this Wednesday, until 5.30 p.m. and from 8.30 a.m. Thursday.
