Many lawyers see arguing parents because of corona vaccine child

This is apparent from a survey by the TV program EenVandaag and the Dutch Association of Family and Inheritance Lawyers Divorce Mediators (vFAS). The survey was completed by 316 lawyers.

Nine lawsuits

Nearly a third of them say they received questions from parents who disagreed about vaccinating their children. More than a quarter of the lawyers (27 percent) went to mediation, in at least nine cases the disagreement even led to a lawsuit. That writes EenVandaag.

For children under the age of 12, both parents must give permission for medical treatment, a family law teacher at Utrecht University tells the TV program. If this does not happen, the medical treatment – in this case the vaccination – may not be carried out.

Conflict met kind

Lawyers association vFas sees that conflicts mainly take place between divorced couples. But the survey shows that there are also conflicts between children and their father or mother, both over vaccination and testing.
