Many Foreigners Sell These Shares Amid Rising JCI

KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) closed in the green this weekend. Citing data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange via RTI Business, the JCI rose 59.92 points or 0.87% to a level of 6,928,328 at the close of trading Friday (4/3). In a week, the JCI rose 0.12% compared to last week.

The increase in the JCI was supported by seven sectors out of a total of 11 sectors on the IDX. The sectors that strengthened the most were the energy sector 6.88%, the industrial sector 2.49%, the health sector 1.13%, the raw goods sector 0.71%, the financial sector 0.25%, the technology sector 0.24% and the industrial sector. property and real estate 0.02%.

Meanwhile, four other sectors are in the red zone, namely the transportation sector at 1.31%, the primary consumer goods sector at 1.03%, the non-primary consumer goods sector at 0.69% and the infrastructure sector at 0.05%.

The total volume of stock trading on the IDX on Friday reached 27.07 billion shares with a total transaction value of Rp 21.63 trillion. There were 202 stocks that rose, 345 stocks that fell and 135 stocks that were stagnant.

Foreign investors noted net buy of Rp 2.39 trillion on the IDX. Although the JCI strengthened, many foreigners also sold the following stocks.

Foreign investors noted net sell largest foreign investors in shares of PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO) of IDR 40.1 billion. INCO shares closed up 2.86% to Rp 5,400 per share. The total trading volume of INCO shares reached 42.4 million with a transaction value of Rp 228.3 billion.

Then foreigners also sold a lot of shares of PT Indocement Tunggal Prakasa Tbk (INTP) of Rp 39.3 billion. INTP shares closed flat at Rp 10,200 per share. The total trading volume of INTP shares reached 14.0 million with a transaction value of Rp. 142.2 billion.

Foreigners also sold a lot of shares of PT Avia Avian Tbk (AVIA) of Rp 38.1 billion. AVIA shares closed down 6.21% to Rp 755 per share. The total trading volume of AVIA shares reached 75 million with a transaction value of Rp 58.8 billion.
