Dozens of people complain about Marktplaats on social media. Their accounts with the online sales site have been blocked and users would also have been wrongly identified as fraudulent.
Sellers are notified, among other things, by Marktplaats that they have made illegal use of the site. Among them would also be many people who have been using the site for years and are known as very reliable sellers. They state that they can no longer fulfill orders and are therefore seen as a fraud.
