As previously reported, Crew Dragon “Endeavor” will be launched at 14:34 on March 2, 2023 (Japan time, unless otherwise specified) from Kennedy Space Center 39A launch pad in Florida, USA by “Falcon 9” rocket. was given. Endeavor, which took about a day to orbit the earth and raised its altitude, succeeded in docking above the “Harmony” module in front of the ISS at 15:40 on March 3, 2023 Japan time. Originally, docking was scheduled for around 15:17 on the same day, but according to NASA, it was necessary to deal with a sensor failure on the docking hook of the Crew Dragon spacecraft, so the docking was delayed by about 20 minutes. It was a success.

Endeavor includes NASA astronauts Stephen Bowen and Warren Hoburg, UAE astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi, and Roscosmos’ Andrei. – Cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev was on board. The opening of the hatch that separates the spacecraft from the inside of the ISS began at 17:45 on the same day, about two hours after docking, and four people boarded the ISS. Astronaut Koichi Wakata of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and other four crew members of the “Crew-5” mission, who are currently staying on the ISS, will replace the four Crew-6 crew members who have arrived at the ISS.
