After 2-6 in the first meeting, there was not much to suggest that Roma would reach the Europa League final.
But even if the chance was small, they made sure to offer an entertaining match in the second meeting with Manchester United.
Cavani started the scoring for United in the first half and also equalized in the second, but in between Roma had managed to score two goals through Edin Dzeko and Bryan Cristante.
And there were no more goals from any player in the Italian team, but despite that they managed to win.
In the 83rd minute, the ball took on United’s Alex Telles and found behind David De Gea.
3-2 to Roma was the final result but United went on with a total of 8-5.

This pits United against Villareal, who defeated Arsenal in the second semi-final.
