It is an infection record in the Premier League just before the busiest period in football. Manchester United – Brentford are crowned.
The match was supposed to have been played on Tuesday night, but on Monday United decided that the team would not go to London until they were told whether the match would be played or not.

42 cases of infection
Premier League football has registered 42 cases of coronary heart disease among players and support staff in the last week. Thus, stricter measures are reintroduced.
This is by far the highest number recorded since testing began when the corona pandemic broke out.
In the week from 29 November to 5 December, there were twelve positive cases, which was also a marked increase.
A total of 3805 people were tested last week (December 6-12).
Emergency measures
In a press release, the Premier League writes that they return to previous emergency measures to limit the infection. This means, among other things, increased testing of players and club employees.
In addition, everyone must wear a face mask indoors, keep a social distance and limit the time spent on physical treatments.
While the corona infection has hit the league harder than ever, the Premier League teams are entering the busiest time of the year. Five series rounds will be played from now until the first weekend in January.
This weekend, Brighton – Tottenham were postponed, and now Brentford – Manchester United are also postponed.
