It is one of those court cases in which one does not want to be the recorder: the 48-year-old accused speaks like a waterfall, also repeatedly about completely different things than he is asked. He gushes with energy. He has been a successful competitive athlete for over 35 years, he explains. He set five world records, but in a fringe sport that hardly anyone knows. He doesn’t earn any money with it, but would beat the 20 years younger professional footballer Shaqiri in every performance test. “If I played tennis, I would be as famous as Roger Federer,” he says.
