This Saturday night, members of the El Salvador Fire Department responded to an emergency reported in the municipality of San Miguel de Mercedes, in Chalatenango, where a man survived a fall from a bridge approximately ten meters high.
The paramedics proceeded to stabilize him at the scene of the accident, and then took him on a stretcher to a healthcare center in the area.
The emergency was reported in the El Espino hamlet, in the El Salitre canton, in San Miguel de Mercedes.
The firefighters declined to reveal the possible motives that caused the man to fall into the void. The patient’s health status was also not stated.
