Man of Hispanic Origin Shot and Killed in Bronx Street

A man of Hispanic origin was murdered Thursday night in the Bronx, after being shot when he was on the street.

The events occurred at 9:12 p.m. in front of 1955 Sedwick Avenue.

The NYPD identified the victim as 30-year-old Ángel Rojas.

According to the authorities’ report, after receiving a report of shots fired, officers arrived at the scene and found a man lying with wounds to his torso.

The victim was transported alive to Saint Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

It turned out that gunmen had shot him from a moving car.

There have been no arrests so far and the incident is under investigation.
