A man died this morning on the 4e Rank in Saint-Pierre-de-Broughton after being the victim of an accident with agricultural machinery.
According to Sûreté du Québec spokesperson Éric Cadotte, emergency services were called at 10:30 a.m. to help a man who had been seriously injured by machinery. Paramedics later pronounced him dead at the scene.
The first information indicates that he fell while operating a mower. A forensic identification technician is still on site to determine the causes and circumstances of death. The investigation is ongoing.
