Weston Storey, or as he is known on TikTok @ExterminatorKing, posted a video with nearly 350,000 views that exposed furniture that a man allegedly planned to donate to charity to be covered in bed bugs.
In the video, he said he received a call from someone he had never done business with before to carry out bed bug treatment.
“These things in this house are completely infested with bed bugs,” Storey said. “On a scale of one to 10, it’s a seven. ”
He said that he told the man that all the furniture needed to be cleaned before the treatment.
“Long story short, I showed up today and instead of getting maintenance to throw it all in the trash, or pay someone to remove it, he said fuck it, I’m going to donate it all to you,” Storey told the camera.
He proceeded to film the furniture, which was covered in bed bug shells that shed once they get too large, as well as eggs. Various insects were seen crawling on the furniture, as well as a large teddy bear.
The TikToker said people from a church were outside to load the belongings into the truck. He said they told him that the furniture was going to be taken to a single mother.
“This guy was literally about to donate all this furniture to a single mother and a couple of kids,” Storey said. “The church was really going to pick it up from here and take it right away. ”
He said he told the volunteers to put down the furniture and that he was waiting for the man he spoke to on the phone.
“If he’s the big boss, and he’s the one who decided to do this, I’m going to screw this place up for everything,” Storey said. “That terrible and safe thing to do, donate all these things and it will go to someone in need. Imagine it. ”
Storey told the Daily Dot that she typically faces her customers trying to give away infested items and they say many people underestimate bed bugs.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, bed bug bites affect people differently. Although they are not considered dangerous, people can experience one. This is a brief summary.
