Mali • Chelsea, Arsenal and Newcastle’s decisions on the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo in January have been revealed

Arsenal, Chelsea and Newcastle United have turned down Manchester United’s offers to sign Cristiano Ronaldo.

Cristiano Ronaldo is rumored to be pushing to leave the club in January following his last meeting with manager Erik ten Hag.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Newcastle United have turned down another chance to sign the Portuguese international.

Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly was set to sign the Euro 2016 winner, but former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel opposed it.

But Tuchel has since been fired and replaced by former Brighton manager Graham Potter.

The Sun reports that Ronaldo’s advisers have already approached Arsenal, Chelsea and Newcastle before the transfer window in January.

But all three clubs have made it clear that they are not interested in signing the United striker.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s future at Manchester United looks bleak following his 2-0 triumph over Tottenham last week.

A source told The Sun: “Chelsea were interested in Ronaldo in the summer, but that is no longer in their plans.

“Arsenal and Newcastle realize the quality it would bring to help them achieve their ambitions.

“But both clubs are concerned about the wider impact his arrival could have on the clubs.”
