As the name suggests, the title character in the film is the priest Mammootty Presented by. This was confirmed by the posters of the film. The film is produced by Anto Joseph, B Unnikrishnan and VN Babu under the banner of Anto Joseph Film Company and RD Illuminations Presence. The story of the film is the same as that of the director. The script is written by Deepu Pradeep and Shyam Menon. Priest’s shoot began last January. The shooting was later extended due to the Kovid lockdown. Filming was finally completed last month.
