The insistence of CD Tenerife was left without any prize against Málaga CF who, despite playing more than half of the match outnumbered, knew how to firmly stop any goal option from the chicharrerro team, in a match that ended without goals.
Dani Gómez, in the 12th minute, was very close to surprising Munir, but his shot, after a cross from the right by Moore, went next to the Malacitan left cross, while the other local attacker, Joselu, in the 17th, finished off a cross from Luis, but the ball was repelled by the post after brushing against Luis Muñoz.
The incisive Dani Gómez put Munir to the test again in the 22nd minute, but this time the goalkeeper rejected the attacker’s crossed shot, and shortly after, at half an hour, it was Ortolá who stopped a distant attempt by the visitor Sadiku without any problem.
