The Prime Minister addressing the Ogivines.

Libreville, July 24, 2023 (AGP) – Traveling to the capital of Ogooué-Ivindo, his native land, the Head of Government, Alain Claude Bilié-By-Nze, invited his people to refuse violence in all its forms. Awareness that was made during a meeting he held in the region.

During this meeting which mobilized 4,000 participants, the head of the government, first of all, wanted to thank the Ogivin populations for the exceptional mobilization reserved for the President of the Republic, Ali Bongo Ondimba, during his Republican tour.

Then, he urged his audience to refuse violence, to condemn it in all its forms. ”The very identity of Gabon is peace. Gabon is a country of peace. No act, however small, should set a Gabonese against his sister or his brother. Inheriting peace is an instrument to be preserved,” he said.

Addressing the Ogivin youth, Alain Claude Bilié By Nze clearly indicated that they must believe in their dreams and must in no case be manipulated.

Also, during his address, he returned to the actions that have been taken in Ogooué-Ivindo, for the development of the populations. These include water supply and electricity in the department of Ivindo, the realization of the Belinga project, the construction of the hospitals of Booué, Ovan and Mvadi, the upcoming construction of the Belinga railway and the resumption of work on the Ovan-Makokou road.

In this regard, Alain Claude Bilié-By-Nze insisted on the fact that the populations must preserve their gains, strengthen the unity and solidarity of the daughters and sons of the province.

Delighted to have, once again, received the Head of Government, the people reassured that they will support the candidates of the Gabonese Democratic Party (PDG), during the next general elections.
