Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand criticized Dean Henderson when Sheffield United lost to Arsenal. He is considered to make blunders that result in goals.
Sheffield defeated 1-2 of Arsenal when competing at Brammall Lane in the FA Cup quarter-final match on Sunday (6/28/2020) night hrs. This match took place fiercely with a 1-1 draw until the final minutes of the fight.
The Gunners took the lead through a Nicolas Pepe penalty in the 25th minute. The host was then able to equalize through David McGoldrick in the 87th minute.
Arsenal then ensured victory through Dani Ceballos in future injury time. This goal was considered born because of Henderson’s inaccuracy in making decisions.

Ferdinand also criticized Henderson’s decision. The goal showed that the 23-year-old goalkeeper was not good enough in establishing communication with the defender.
“I talked about this some time ago, as a defender I would be very angry with the goalkeeper there. I told the goalkeeper to guard the front post, no one should pass the front pose,” Ferdinand was quoted as saying from Mirror.
“The goalkeepers might suggest different things about this, however, what I do when playing is like this.”
Ferdinand’s criticism is certainly expected to make Henderson better. Moreover, the Whitehaven-born goalkeeper is staying as a future goalkeeper MU.
The name Henderson several times sticking out would be a replacement for David De Gea after the Spanish goalkeeper made several fatal blunders.
Apart from his mistakes in the match against Arsenal, Henderson actually performed quite well in the Premier League this season. He became the goalkeeper with numbers cleansheet the third most in the Premier League by recording 11 games without conceding.
