A vast blackout hit this morning the south of Paris, in the Rungis sector. According to our information, this is a voluntary act, claimed by the CGT Energie.
About RMC, Franck Jouanno of the CGT Energie Val-de-Marne explains that this action aims to “make an impression, have an impact on the economy and above all be heard”. “It is also not the end of the world to have a break, in general it does not last more than the morning,” he adds.
30,000 customers impacted
According to Enedis contacted by BFM Paris, the power has been restored and 30,000 customers have been impacted. The manager of the electricity distribution network will file a complaint.
“It is scandalous it is irresponsible and it destroys social dialogue (…) we must put an end to these actions”, for his part commented the Minister of Housing Julien Denormandie, invited on BFMTV.
