Ericsson (Nasdaq: ERIC) has announced the appointment of Majda Lahlou Qusay as Vice President of Ericsson and President of Ericsson West Africa and Morocco, effective January 1, 2024. With nearly 25 years at Ericsson, Majda will play a key role. In leading the company’s strategic direction, achieving operational excellence for its business, and supporting Ericsson’s customers with the latest advanced and innovative technologies that enhance connectivity and communities in the West Africa region.
Majda has more than two decades of deep experience, having previously held several senior leadership positions in technology, sales, strategy, operations, and client project delivery. She also has extensive knowledge in the field of communications and information technology. Prior to assuming her new position, Majda held the position of Head of Network Solutions, where she headed a team responsible for developing customer networks across 13 countries at Ericsson West Africa and Morocco.
Commenting on assuming her new position, Majda Lahlou Qusay said: “I am very excited to take on this new responsibility and collaborate closely with our partners and customers to unleash the enormous potential of digital transformation in the West Africa region. My focus in my new position will be to support our customers, and enable them to Achieving success by exploiting Ericsson’s technology and services will lead to enhancing the growth of our company in this region.”
