Mainfranken: This is the current status of …

More than half of the people in the city and district of Würzburg are now fully vaccinated against Corona. Around 158,000 citizens have received both vaccinations, which is 54.4 percent of the population. 64.4 percent of people are vaccinated at least once – significantly more than in all of Bavaria and Germany. Here the vaccination rate is currently 59.5 percent and 61.7 percent, respectively.

Districts Main-Spessart and Kitzingen:

In the Main-Spessart district, around 71,000 people received their first vaccination. This corresponds to 56.3 percent of the population and is thus slightly below the average for Bavaria. Around 60,000 people have been vaccinated against Corona twice, that’s 50.3 percent of the population.

Around 54,300 first vaccinations were administered in the Kitzingen district (59.6 percent of the population). Around 50,100 people have already received their full vaccination. That corresponds to 54.9 percent of the population.

Attention: The quotas from Main-Spessart and Kitzingen are not comparable with those from Würzburg. There are figures from vaccination centers, clinics and general practitioners. Data from the clinics are missing from Main-Spessart and Kitzingen.

Vaccination quota in the national average:

According to the Robert Koch Institute (as of Monday) 52.3 percent of Germans are fully vaccinated against Corona. 61.7 percent received at least one dose of vaccine.
