In an emergency, first aiders are often in front of the emergency services on site and take care of patients. Because of the corona pandemic, first-aiders have not been alerted since mid-March, and the regulation has now been lifted. The 67 first aid locations in Würzburg, Kitzingen and Main-Spessart will be beeped again in the future. The competent authorities are now communicating this. The increasing relaxation in the corona crisis speaks for the resumption, and first aiders have meanwhile been adequately trained and equipped with protective equipment. If the pandemic worsens, the alarm could also be suspended again.
