The corona virus claimed three more lives in Mainfranken. The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) reported on Saturday. One person from the city of Würzburg and two people from the city and district of Schweinfurt died. As things stand, it is not yet known who it is.
Development of the pandemic
In the City of Würzburg the seven-day incidence decreased slightly compared to the previous day – from 129 to 127.4. The RKI reports 16 more corona cases.
Im Würzburg district the incidence has increased slightly: With a value of around 74, the district is still well below the threshold of 100. The Corona emergency brake will be released here from Sunday.
From the Kitzingen district the RKI reports 15 more cases. The incidence has decreased again compared to the previous day – it is now around 103.
Im Main-Spessart district the value on Saturday is around 94 for the first time again below the emergency braking threshold of 100. The RKI reports nine more cases.
Meanwhile, the seven-day incidences are in City and district of Schweinfurt increased significantly. From the city, the RKI reports a value of around 275. In the district, the incidence is 196.6. From Saturday, the incidence-dependent trade will have to switch to “Click & Collect”.
