Five other people died in connection with Corona in Mainfranken. The district offices have announced this. Three of them come from the Würzburg area, one from Main-Spessart. Most of the people affected were elderly and previously ill. A woman from Würzburg died at the age of 55. The health department reported another corona death from Schweinfurt on Wednesday afternoon. It is a 92-year-old with previous illnesses from the city. The corona numbers in Main Franconia continue to fluctuate. With a total of 51 new infections, more cases were reported from the Würzburg area than in the past few days. Nevertheless, according to the RKI, the incidences continued to decrease. They are around 81 in the city and around 87 in the district. In Main-Spessart and Kitzingen, the new infections commute on average over the past few days. According to the RKI, the 7-day incidence in Main-Spessart is around 75 in Main-Spessart and just under 89 in Kitzingen. That is significantly lower than the day before. 18 new corona infections have been reported from the Schweinfurt area. The 7-day incidences are 40 in the city 52 in the county. The city of Schweinfurt is now one of the regions in Bavaria that have the lowest incidences.
