On Friday afternoon, 17 new corona infections from the region were reported. There is still good news from the city and district of Würzburg: No new infections have repeatedly occurred here. Four new cases have come to light from Kitzingen. Another person became infected in Main-Spessart. Twelve new cases have been reported from Schweinfurt. The number of Main Franconia, in which the corona virus has been detected, increases to 1,838.
The numbers in detail:
So far, 869 cases have occurred in the city and district of Würzburg, 513 of whom are considered cured. 550 Würzburg residents are currently under domestic quarantine, 2,289 have so far been released. With the four new infections, there are now 175 confirmed corona cases in Kitzingen. In Main-Spessart 147 people have so far been tested positive for the virus, in Schweinfurt there are 647.
