Main-Spessart: Vaccination center moves in April…

The Main-Spessart vaccination center is moving again in April – this time to Karlstadt. It is already the third change of location since October. In the spring, those who want to be vaccinated can pick up their spades in the former building of the EP Medienland on the Ringstrasse in Karlstadt. The reason for the move: The Spessarttorhalle in Lohr is needed again for club sports.

The new vaccination center in Karlstadt is now a flexible solution that can be adapted to the respective vaccination needs, according to the district office. It is also centrally located in the Main-Spessart district and easily accessible.

Three moves in a short time

In October, the vaccination center moved from Lohr to Marktheidenfeld. The reason: Due to the low demand, the vaccination centers throughout Bavaria had to reduce their capacities. In Marktheidenfeld, the vaccination center continued to operate in a reduced version.

In December, the demand for booster vaccinations increased enormously – which is why the vaccination center moved back to the Spessarttorhalle in Lohr. A children’s vaccination line has also been set up here.

In April, however, the athletes should get their Spessarttorhalle back. In recent months they have been outsourced to other halls.
