Maia Sandu, president of the Republic of Moldova, said on Sunday for bior that during his 24-hour private visit to Oradea, he met two local officials, Mayor Florin Birta and the President of the Provincial Council, Ilie Bolojan.
Maia Sandu visited the Oradea Town Hall on Sunday. From 18:00, SPP cars in which the president of the neighboring state was traveling, as well as the official car of the president of CJ Bihor, Ilie Bolojan, were parked in front of the building.
When asked about the reason for the visit, the President of the Republic of Moldova stated that he came to Oradea on vacation. “I was on vacation, it’s my first time here and I loved it,” said Maia Sandu.
The President of the Republic of Moldova arrived in Oradea on Saturday evening, on the Tarom scheduled flight, together with several dozen other regular passengers, his visit was not announced by the Presidency’s website in Chisinau, nor by the Romanian central or local authority of Oradea, and the goal – as BIHOREANUL wrote before arriving – was non-public.
