Journalist Mai Helmy commented on the news of her separation from singer Mohamed Rashad through a story through her official account on the social networking site to share Instagram photos and videos.

May Helmy said: “In response to everything published yesterday about the news of my divorce … I have not been officially informed yet.”

She added, “I learned the news of my separation and divorce through social media, as you did not know exactly.”

And she continued, “Sorry, I tried to verify the news from my current or former husband, I do not know, frankly, but his phone is closed until now.”

On the other hand, artist Mohamed Rashad commented on his separation from his wife May Helmy in his first response after the divorce.
